Passionate about service, sourcing, and themselves former coffee shop managers, our clients came to us with a distinct vision for Menagerie Coffee. As their first venture, the project would require everything from finding a lease to final buildout. Involving C2 Architects and Osborne Construction, we assembled a team capable of producing quality work on a sensitive timeline and budget. As our designs took shape, words like "French bistro meets Australian white tile with a touch of colour," images of the Icelandic countryside, and glimpses of existing coffee shops around the world guided our material selection. An objective to facilitate quick to-go service while inviting longer stays informed the shop's configuration. Everything from the sleek bowling alley tables, to the warm Old City brick, the deep Walnut bench and the layouts they form seek to embody our clients' comprehensive vision.
