The “buried treasure” of woods, sinker cypress was literally dug up from river beds. Back in the day, loggers would cut down trees and float them down the river to be milled. Occasionally the chains holding the trees together would break and they would sink into the mud at the bottom of the river, absorbing the minerals and salt over time. This gave the recovered wood beautiful grain definition and deep mineral streaks (and a great story).
This sinker cypress table is finished with a waterproof, VOC-free clear coat and comfortably seats 8.

Live edges, sapwood, and rough-sawn texture mark these single-piece Walnut cutting boards. Each piece will be a unique, natural shape that is no bigger than 14 3/8" x 10 1/2" x 3/4" (Large) and 10 1/2" x 8" x 3/4" (Small).

Heart pine is a beautiful American wood with great grain definition, color, and tone. Typically used for flooring, we turned some extra material into a solid table top that can comfortable seat 6 people. Made from locally-sourced, reclaimed stock.
